For a very long time I loved school, it was fun, I had friends and I enjoyed the subjects I took.

And then COVID-19 hit, everything was in complete and utter chaos. People were fighting over toilet paper, tinned food, pasta. And the worst part of all of this is that people were bringing knives to shopping centres.

And then we were sent home from school, we had to ‘social distance’ from each other. Everything was independent and if you needed any help you had to figure it out all by yourself with no help.

But I found the thing that pulled me through Corona Virus was my family and doing the things I loved, such as baking, playing sport and cuddling with my dogs.

I had found that I became a lot closer with my family as we were all home together.

I also baked so much, and I knew it was the thing I always wanted to do. It put me into my happy space.

After it seemed like a century, restrictions eased and we were allowed to go back to school, socialize and something everyone wanted to do was see their friends.

That’s where we are right, at school with our friends, some restrictions to keep us safe, but most of all HAPPY.
