Dear Future Students,
My name is Robert C. I am 11 yrs old & I’m a Year 6 at Glenbrook Public School NSW.
COVID-19 was the craziest thing that happened to me in primary school.It was very annoying😡😡. The COVID-19 experience has shown me that Pandemics are hard to live through. It caused lots of problems like the toilet paper shortage where everyone went crazy for toilet paper. It has been hard on people who work because they lose their jobs or can’t go to work because of COVID. It also means they get paid less.
I feel sorry for everyone who has had to experience this because it was really harsh and unfair but we definitely will eventually find a vaccine and things will go back to normal. At least we have been able to get out and exercise while being at home. I have been able to see my friends on facetime, zoom, and when playing Minecraft. Another thing is that while we were at home we had school online which was good and bad. It was good because it didn’t take much time to do stuff and you could do whatever you want at recess or lunch and get to spend more time with family but was bad because I couldn't interact with anyone in my class and see my friends. I didn’t get the feel of being in a classroom like you would get. It was also really easy to get distracted at. COVID wasn’t the only bad thing that happened because there were also bad fires.
This year has been quite a rollercoaster for everyone because of things happening but I know things will calm down at one point or another and things will be normal.
