Dear Future Self,
My name is SofiaK and I am a Year 6 student at Glenbrook public school. I am writing to you to tell you about what it was like during the COVID19 period. It was a very interesting time to be in.
During the period we had a lock down where all of the students had to do home school and nearly all of the shop shelves were empty! Everyone was rushing to the shops to take as much toilet paper and hand sanitiser as they could, so the Shops had to put a limit on how much you could buy. And also schooling from home is not easy (especially if you have siblings)
But it was not all that bad we did get to bond with our family members, my dad was home (and still is) but the thing is that he is usually at work so we don't really get to see him that much so having him working from home was amazing!
Another good thing was the fact that we got to be with our pets more because we were all at home so me and our rabbit got to play and be together more and it turns out that she loves to be patted on the nose and she hates being patted on the back.
Me and my mum tried to do a walk everyday but it didn't work. We just sat down and started our work so we were really lazy in the home school period.
But me and my friend Holly N had lots of playdates and we set up a Minecraft world so we could play together when we were at home!! So that is what it was like in the COVID19 period. I hope you enjoyed it!!!
