Dear Future Student/Recipient,
Hello Students/Recipient my name is Joey.M a student in Glenbrook Public School in the class 6L this year has been the worst 2 years ever for Australia first we had the Drought then we had the bushfires but the bushfires got better when it started to rain but even that rain was bad because 2 days later there was floods and when we thought it couldn't get any worse coronavirus came in (COVID-19).
COVID-19 has been terrible in my opinion because we couldn't see our friends and we couldn't go anywhere.first COVID-19 wasn't that big of a deal but things just went downhill. The first thing that was happening was everyone was panic buying there was no toilet paper, pasta, soap, milk or bread.
All the schools were shutting down. It wasn't until late march that our school shut down. So the school started online learning. At first we thought it would be fun but… IT WAS TORTURE picture this in your head stuck inside the house with three siblings shouting at each other parents telling us off and not even being able to go out of the house it was pain.
The online learning was hard although the teachers made it easier. They were really good, especially my teacher since he is the tech expert. I wanted to see my friends really badly but I knew we couldn't go outside.
During coronavirus there was something called social distancing u would have to be at least 1.5 meters away from someone and there was an app to say if someone got coronavirus near you it would give you a notification saying stay inside but a lot of people didn't like the because it tracked them so they just didn't download it.
