Dear Future people,
This is a letter from 2020. I was in Year Six when it happened in a school up in the Blue Mountains. Everybody was making jokes like if you cough you instantly have corona it was funny. Then there was a rumour that school was going to shut down. I thought it was going to be a holiday basically so I loved corona for that but then when the teachers started saying it was going to shut down they showed us this website called Google Classroom so we had to do work while we were at home. I knew it would be too good to be true if it was like a holiday and deep down i knew they wouldn't let that happen.
After a while at home I never thought I could say this but I was really missing school not the learning part but my friends like I started having dreams of just sitting down talking to my friends and they were the best dreams I've had for ages that's concerning. With online school I finished it in like 2 hours and then I was just sitting there waiting for a new task to pop up that was boring. But it was good because you could have a proper lunch instead of a sandwich and when I was finished and waiting for new tasks I could watch Netflix or listen to music.
Once I came back it felt so good to hang out with the boys. And I could ride my bike with them again but the work was better in online school. So now if I hate school at one point I can remember I missed it when I didn't go. Thank you
