COVID 19
2020 has been a huge roller coaster from Bush Fires, Floods, toilet paper raids and now Croan Virus. I am in year 6 now and it has not been a great experience. Normally we have all these fun activities but that has stopped. We have to stay inside and we are not allowed to go to school unless your parents are essential workers. Everyone has been very confused and scientists are struggling to find a cure but they won’t give up which is amazing. It has been a very sad time because we can not hug or kiss your family members. We have to stay 1.5 merters apart from people and you are not allowed to touch people. You also can not see your friends and family.
This experience has brought a lot of sadness to my life in general because I missed out on my 12th birthday and my last birthday party with all my primary school friends so I have had to have a zoom party which is all right. I have not been allowed to see my friends at all during the school holiday because we had to stay in quarantine. We have had to stay in quarantine to keep people from getting sick because the main way of spreading Croan Virus is seeing people and touching them. The only thing I would say to be a positive is that we learned new life skills we have learnt a lot during this time including how important it is to wash your hands and how important your hygiene is. We have learned many many life skills that will help us in time. But this experience I will never forget. It's a once in a lifetime experience. It wasn’t a good one but it sure is crazy!
