The covid-19 crises has been a different experience for everyone. We have learnt how to social distance, wash our hands properly, hygiene, and many more. Something that I have enjoyed about this experience is getting to spend more time with family and be grateful for the little things in life. Many people miss their friends and other family members that don’t live with each other. I am really excited to see my family and friends after this all ends.
I’m enjoying school learning from home I start earlier and finish earlier and then I am able to enjoy the rest of the day. Something that I am not enjoying is not being able to see my friends and family, go to outings and birthday parties, sacraments, special events, school outings and many more. Staying at home has been a big challenge for me in many ways but I have become used to staying at home and spending time with my family.
Something that I have learnt during this experience is to be grateful for what you have and to enjoy the simple things in life rather than having to go out every weekend or have it to do something. When we were on stage 3 lockdown only essential workers and schools were open for service but now the restrictions are slowly easing off. Many people have been or are still in isolation which is where we have to stay at home with no one around us and we can’t go outside. People who have been overseas or has been in contact with someone who has/had covid-19 have to be isolated.
Many shops have closed and many borders have been shut. Even though this experience has been enjoyable some how I really hope that this crises will all be over soon.
