Dear readers,
I live in Sydney and I am in high school. I am learning online and going to school only one day per week. The numbers of people who have COVID- 19 are starting to decrease, and the rules during this pandemic are starting to become more relaxed. With increasing stock in shop, I feel as if things are finally starting to go back to the way they were before. Luckily, nobody that I am close with has gotten the virus and I hope it stays that way.
With online learning, I feel more overwhelmed, with piles of assignments, tests and homework. The amount of breaks I have taken while I study has definitely reduced and the amount of exercise I have as well. Even though school work has been endless, the positive side to this would be being able to eat and visit the bathroom whenever I want and waking up late because I am not taking public transport anywhere.
On the day that I go to school, it definitely doesn't feel the same, with social distancing measures, and less people coming to school. We also have to use hand sanitiser almost every few hours and we only have one room that we have to stay in, with only 15 people in it, spread across the entire room. When I take public transport back home I have to wear a mask the whole way back as a safety precaution. However, I feel grateful that, unlike in other countries, we get to even go to school and I know that it could be worse.
I hope you have a good day today stay safe.
Bye!
