Thought on Covid:
As a migrant who has been unable to see my elderly parents (87 + 90) who live overseas, it's very hard to feel much sympathy for those in Australia who complain about not being able to visit their elderly parents during lockdowns. I understand that it's relative but they never seem to consider what it's like for those who are separated by international borders, not just nursing home lockdowns.
